Since November 8, the government has been paying an exceptional energy check of between 100 and 200 euros to households that heat with oil. It is intended, subject to income conditions, for 1.4 million households. No action is taken if you have taken advantage of the 2022 energy check to pay a fuel bill. If this is not the case, check your eligibility on the chequeenergie.gouv.fr website. If you are entitled to it, you will receive the check less than a month after sending a fuel bill less than 18 months old. If you benefit from a collective oil heating you will have to fill in a certificate collective heating with domestic fuel oil.
Note the change of address
But, a mistake could deprive you of this boost. Indeed, the check will be sent to the address retained by the general direction of public finances on March 31, 2022. Therefore, if you have moved since April 1, 2022 or if you have reported your change of address to the tax authorities after this date, you must contact 0805204805 as soon as possible. This number is free.
Each fuel oil from 200 euros, valid for one year, is granted to households earning less than 10,800 euros per year per consumption unit (i.e. when the income of an adult in the household, once deducted in particular the burden represented by minors, does not exceed 10,800 euros per year, according to the INSEE calculation). It will be 100 euros for those earning between 10,800 and 20,000 euros per year per consumption unit.

This fuel oil check can be combined not only with the exceptional energy check of 100,200 euros planned for the end of the year, but also with the usual energy check towards each year in the spring.
