This Pokémon Go Raid is Reportedly “Killing” the Game

Pokémon Go players are still not getting along with Niantic following the Starry event that included a 4-star raid with Starfly.

Bit by bit, Niantic has earned the wrath of the Pokémon community over the past few months over some hotly contested decisions like Remote Raid Passes. There were other reports during the event with Solochi, but player frustration still seems to be far from over.

Now, the community criticizes Niantic which would be “killing” Pokémon Go with the Starfly event which offers too few rewards for the taste of a good part of the players.

To celebrate the arrival of Pokémon GO in the Pokémon TCG, a vent has been introduced in game.

Pokémon Go Players Criticize Starfly Raid

The tension escalated during Stunning Community Day for the month of July 2022 which focuses on the bird Pokémon of Sinnoh. We are mainly talking about the 4-star Raid with Starfly which does not allow players to participate using a remote raid pass. And it was on Reddit that many players complained about it.

It’s a joke, right?

We translate the message of the game in relation to the Starfly Raid: “Starfly will appear in 4-Star Raids! These Raids can only be accessed with Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes. Remote Raid Passes cannot be used.”

This quickly pissed off a good part of the community who interacted a lot with this Reddit post, almost 1,000 upvotes at the time of writing this article.

It seems that Niantic has chosen its direction in relation to Remote Raid Passes which should become increasingly rare and less and less useful. And you what do you think ?
