This Monday, October 30, 2023, the former Miss France who recently became a mother, Camille Cerf, spoke on the private channel of her Instagram account. The 28-year-old woman spoke without taboo about her pregnancy and wanted to address a preconceived idea regarding contraception that affects many women.
It was at the age of 28 that the beautiful Camille Cerf became a mother for the first time. In a relationship for almost two years with actor and model Théo Fleury, the young parents welcomed their first child on August 18, a little boy they chose to call Malo. If the former Miss France had chosen to reveal her pregnancy as late as possible, she no longer hides anything about these new stages that the three of them are taking.

At the end of August, a few days after giving birth, the young mother shared the difficulties she encountered with breastfeeding: “Malo wanted to nurse all night, I was exhausted. (…) I didn’t imagine it was so difficult“. Since then, the young woman seems fulfilled in her role as a young mother, but that doesn’t mean she didn’t want to send a little message to her subscribers this Monday, October 30, through her private channel on Instagram.

“I told myself it would be crazy if I got pregnant…”
If she had not hesitated to share certain stages of her pregnancy, it is not this subject that the former Miss France decided to address, but rather contraception! A subject that came to her mind while she was going to her gynecologist to insert an IUD: “I think it’s important to talk to you about contraception. I know I have a lot of young women who follow me and this subject should not be taboo.» She explains first. She then continues by explaining her journey: “I took the pill for 13 years. Last November, I decided to stop and switch to the IUD to have less hormones.»
A choice which ultimately turned out to be more problematic than expected even though she didn’t expect it at all: “I had stopped taking the pill for 15 days while waiting to insert the IUD during my period, except that you already know the rest: my period never arrived“. A situation that many women have already faced given the preconceived ideas of our society: “During these 15 days, we didn’t think we needed to protect ourselves, I had been taking the pill for 13 years, I told myself that it would be crazy if I got pregnant…»And yet little Malo showed up a few months later!
