Samsung continues to roll out Android 14 to new smartphone models. This week, the Samsung Galaxy A54 was able to receive the latest version of Google’s OS after several months of beta and it seems that Samsung is now attacking its oldest flagships.

The entire Samsung Galaxy S21 range is visibly receiving Android 14 via the manufacturer’s One UI 6 software overlay.

The Galaxy S21 finally receives Android 14

Just like the brand’s other smartphones, the Galaxy S21 and its Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra versions underwent several months of beta phase in order to accommodate this stable version of Android 14.

The update is currently available for Swiss users and should, as usual, arrive in the rest of Europe in the coming days. If you’re like me, don’t hesitate to check every 10 minutes via the “System Update” menu on your smartphone. Or only once a day, it depends…

Note that this weighs 2.28 GB, so we will of course advise you to download it via your Wi-Fi network if you do not want to use too much of your data plan.

One UI 6: a smooth update

With the new version of its One UI software interface, Samsung offers some slight improvements without significantly modifying the system.

In addition to new emojis, a new, more readable font, you will be able to find a new quick settings panel, a new presentation of notifications as well as the lock screen or even a new interface for the photo application.
