This scope in Warzone removes the reflection of snipers

A certain scope completely removes the light glare from Vanguard snipers in Warzone, allowing you to go unnoticed.

Since the very first day of Warzone, sniper rifles have always played an important role in the Battle Royale meta. With Verdansk and then Caldera being large maps, long-range weapons quickly became a staple of player classes.

However, like all other weapons, snipers must be balanced. And one of the ways to do this is to spawn a glow to indicate a player’s position, which gives you a moment to react before you get downed.

However, it’s not always that simple, as players usually find ways around the appearance of this light.

And while the developers have already fixed some of these issues, it looks like a new problem is on the horizon.

Snipers still have a massive impact on the Warzone meta.

In his March 21 YouTube video, Warzone content creator IceManIsaac pointed out that Vanguard snipers feature a scope that completely removes glare.

This scope in question is the ZF4 x3.5 Rifle Scope, and the reason there is no reflection is due to its magnification. As the Youtuber explains, if a riflescope has a magnification greater than x4, then it will have a reflection.

The x3.5 scope is therefore in the right place to have range, but also not to reveal your position.

For things like the x4-x8 you would see the reflection, and even apparently with the 3x-6x.” said IceManIsaac. “The x3.5 rifle scope? No sir ! You take people the wrong way like crazy.

The NRG content creator has indicated that he’s been pushing this super-powered accessory in hopes of it getting fixed, though he knows full well that players will be using it in the meantime.

Based on WZRanked stats, this scope has seen little use so far, but it still lags far behind some options. So expect that to change in the near future.
