The 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival has finally opened its doors ! Among the guests on the Croisette, big names in cinema such as Tom Hanks, Marion Cotillard or Vincent Lindon as president of the jury. A role already played by the greatest directors of the last decades, such as Quentin Tarantino or Steven Spielberg, crowned president of the jurors in May 2013. During this 66th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, the Miss France then in the running, Marine Lorphelin, was invited to climb the steps of the red carpet on the arm of Alain Delon.

If posing alongside such a great gentleman obviously delighted the one who is now a doctor, Marine Lorphelin does not keep excellent memories of this event however. And for good reason, as Sylvie Tellier says during a question and answer session on Instagram, the young Miss France had to face quite an inconvenience.

The subscribers of the director of the Miss France society asked Sylvie Tellier to tell them an anecdote about a Miss. After announcing the name of Marine Lorphelin, she told how the latter was forced to walk the red carpet during the Cannes festival with shoes that didn’t fit! Without specifying whether they were too big or too small, we can imagine that our national Miss was not very comfortable in her shoes. However, Marine Lorphelin knows how to remain professional and keep a smile in all circumstances : “Despite this, she remained smiling on the red carpet.” Let’s hope that this little technical problem does not happen again for Diane LeyreMiss France 2022, during her parade on the Croisette!
