This smartphone is the new king of photography according to DXOMARK, Apple and Samsung have no chance

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo recently launched the Find X6 Pro, and it has finally passed photo tests from experts at DXOMARK. Unsurprisingly, it is he who now dominates the ranking.

The Oppo Find X6 Pro has just won the top spot in the DXOMARK camera rankings with an impressive score of 153 points. It therefore exceeds the Honor Magic5 Pro by one point, and is far ahead of the competition at Samsung and Apple.

The device using large photo sensors, it manages to get excellent texture and noise results, preserving fine detail and keeping noise levels very low. The Oppo Find X6 Pro is also particularly good in low light, as well as in zoomed photos and videos.

The Oppo Find X6 Pro does much better than its competitors in photos

In its test, DXOMARK also notes that in addition to its good performance in terms of texture and noise, the precise exposure and pleasant colors make the Oppo Find X6 Pro a great option for low light conditions. The smartphone also earns top scores in DXOMARK’s Friends & Family and Lowlight categories, as well as Texture and Bokeh subscores.

The Oppo Find X6 Pro presumably delivered consistently high image quality. The level of detail captured is quite high in all lighting conditions. The colors are well controlled, with neutral white balance and beautifully rendered colors in most conditions. Exposure and autofocus are also strong points of the camera.

When it comes to zoom, the Oppo Find X6 Pro has big improvements over its predecessor. DXOMARK notes that its ultra-wide 50MP sensor produces well-exposed photos and captures accurate colors in most scenes, with a high level of detail. Portraits are also a strong point of the camera.

However, the smartphone is not perfect. DXOMARK picks up occasional oversaturation of skin tones, as well as a lack of HDR image preview, a feature commonly found on devices in this segment. Unfortunately, Oppo has decided this year not to launch its high-end smartphone in France, so you will have to import it if you want to take advantage of the best camera on the market.
