The YAS-109 can also stream your playlists directly via your smartphone or PC, using a simple Bluetooth connection. Even if the sound saturates slightly at high volume, the dynamics are excellent and the whole thing sounds true with many details. You can control the bar using the included remote control, or via the Yamaha Sound Bar Controller application. The latter also allows you to adjust the system.
Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant is integrated into the YAS-109, allowing you to control your soundbar, connected devices or music with the sound of your voice. Finally, note that the connection to the network can be done by Wi-Fi, but also with an RJ45 connector.
