David Hallyday became grandfather for the first time at the age of 55. During the summer of 2022, her eldest daughter Ilona Smet gave birth to a little boy named Harrisson, fruit of his love with Kamran Ahmed. An event that filled the singer with joy. After the arrival of his grandson, David Hallyday expressed his joy on social networks. “Welcome this wonderful Jedi to this crazy world! He fell on the right side of the tree with the two loving and beautiful parents that you are. I love you forever”, he wrote. Last April 1, during his appearance on the show An hour with… on RFMDavid Hallyday confided in his new role as grandfather with Bernard Montiel.
He then declared that it was “the most wonderful thing in the world”, adding that it was “something crazy.” However, he admitted to having had difficulty getting used to it. “Ilona is young. It’s my baby. So it was strange to me that she was a mother in that way. But I, It’s like having a fourth child, in fact. I’m crazy about this kid. It is awesome. It’s amazing”, he explained tenderly.
And, he’s not the only one who is gaga over his grandson. Estelle Lefébure, the mother of Ilona Smet, had confided to Tele-Leisure be “beyond happy with the arrival of this baby!”. “It’s the first time for me. I can’t wait to do lots of activities with him”, she continued.
