This August 23 marks the 10th anniversary of the death of Jean-Luc Delarue. A documentary broadcast by TF1 tells us the sentence he said just before his death.
Ten years ago, to the day, on August 23, 2012, Jean-Luc Delarue died out as a result ofmassive stomach cancer, at the age of 48. This animator, then at the head of one of the most prolific production companies of French public television, died only a few months after making it known that he suffered from this disease. The company he founded in 1994, Reservoir Prod, decided to pay tribute to him. On Wednesday August 24, TF1 will therefore broadcast Jean-Luc Delarue, 10 years already: success in excess.
An exclusive documentary composed of archive images and testimonials – whose objective is to retrace his journey – which was previewed by Current wife. Our colleagues have spotted a sequence in which we learn the terrible sentence that Jean-Luc Delarue pronounced just before his death. These few words were revealed by Stéphanie Guérin, a collaborator of the host, who agreed to speak in front of the camera. “We were both facing the window. He said to me, ‘You know, Steph, I’m not afraid of dying, I’m afraid of not living anymore’“she recalled.
