Bianchi is clearly not his first attempt at electric bikes. In August 2022, the transalpine firm unsheathed a brand new range of VAE called e-Vertic and composed of five models covering all the main uses: from the fully suspended VTTAE to the cycle for hiking through the urban.

This time, the famous brand of racing bikes presents a single and unique product available in two versions: the e-ArcadeX and the e-ArcadeX Bianchi Tourer. The latter is the more affordable of the two, with a price of around 5349 euros all the same, against 6,249 euros for the first. We are obviously dealing with very high-end products.

The best of Bosch

And for once, the technical sheet reflects this price relatively well. The duo embarks on the best of Bosch, a German supplier renowned for its reliability and excellent motors. Here you are dealing with a Performance Line CX central motorization with an enormous torque of 85 Nm and a power of 250 W.

As stipulated by law, this two-wheeler is assisted up to a maximum speed of 25 km/h. From this speed, the engine cuts out and it is with the strength of your legs that you will have to exceed this pace. The battery is nestled in the frame tube and boasts a capacity of 500 Wh for a range of 115 km.

It is advisable to moderate this range of action slightly, since the weight of the user and the type of terrain borrowed can impact this figure. Hibridos and Electricos evokes a contained weight, without the brand officially communicating on this subject. Hardly do we know that the fork benefits from carbon, a material renowned for its lightness.

A version with more equipment

The e-ArcadeX Bianchi Tourer also features Shimano T-MT800 hydraulic disc brakes, an 11-speed Shimano Deore transmission and 28-inch Continental Terra Trail ShieldWall tires. Opposite, the classic version relies on Pirelli tires and brakes and a 13-speed transmission signed Campagnolo.

The Tourer version benefits from a more extensive range of equipment: luggage racks and mudguards are notably integrated. These two electric gravels nevertheless opt for the same colors: Glacial Full Glossy, Desert Full Matt and Forest Full Matt.

This promising electric bike goes vintage with a cruiser motorcycle style

The Electra Kakau Go is an electric bike with a very particular style: it borrows the aesthetic codes of cruiser motorcycles, all at a price of 1800 euros and with a promising autonomy of 65 kilometers.
