Palit RTX 4090 GameRock: a unique shimmering design
The Palit RTX 4090 GameRock is a 3D card intended for those who want color in their case. Its facade is equipped with plastic crystals “Midnight Kaleidoscope”, which gives it a unique mineral aspect. Under this coating hides ARGB LEDs that illuminate these crystals. Thanks to the Palit ThunderMaster software, it is then possible to choose the color and the type of illumination that you want to give to your graphics card.
Palit also provides a synchronization cable that can be plugged into its motherboard in order to synchronize the ARGB illumination of the various (ARGB-compatible) components of its tower. It is thus possible to create a luminous effect spreading from the heat sink by water cooling to the graphics card via the RAM modules.
Palit has also worked on removing heat from its graphics card. The backplate, for starters, features golden ratio cutouts for maximum ventilation efficiency. The three fans of the card have also benefited from special care and benefit from the Gale Talon technology on their blades. Finally, a large “anti-gravity” plate ensures that the card will never bend within the case.
It must be said that this Palit RTX 4090 GameRock is impressive. With dimensions of 32.9 × 13.7 × 7.1 cm, plan a case large enough to accommodate it. - Flight Simulator: 93fps in 4K with DLSS 3 enabled
- Red Dead Redemption 2: 108 frames per second in 4K (without DLSS)
- Spider-Man Remastered: 96 frames per second (DLSS 2, with a CPU-based fps limit)
- Overwatch 2: 317 frames per second (without DLSS, in Ultra, and with an average latency of 10 ms thanks to Nvidia Reflex)
It’s simple: no other card on the market is capable of such performance. The RTX 4090 is a card already ready for the graphics slaps that will be released in the next few years.
