This video projector presents the best quality/price ratio in our comparison

The latest evolution of Xgimi’s 4K Ultra HD video projectors is called Horizon Ultra. Announced as the first long focal length model compatible with Dolby Vision, it promises more precise colors thanks to a dual light source combining diodes and laser, while retaining the strengths of previous devices.

The Xgimi Horizon Ultra is one of the best Android TV video projectors passed through our laboratory. The automatic image adjustment system is still as efficient as ever; above all, the image is now perfectly calibrated in SDR, a first for the Chinese manufacturer. For the rest, this video projector retains its strengths, the very practical all-in-one concept, an efficient audio system and quiet operation, but also its weaknesses such as a restricted Netflix app and limited contrast.

The XGIMI Horizon Pro video projector is a compendium of technologies. In raw image quality, it remains behind category references such as the Sony VW290ES or even the Vava 4K UST Laser, but it impresses with its features and automatic adjustment capabilities. The Horizon Pro has other significant advantages, such as its silence in operation, reduced display delay, instant wake-up and more. One downside: partial support for Netflix, which can certainly be circumvented via an external box, but then we lose the interest of the all-in-one video projector.
