According to Warzone data expert TrueGameData, the DP27 machine gun which is very little used by players could well take over the meta and thus succeed the Bren in the near future.
Since the launch of Warzone Pacific, the long range meta has been largely Bren dominated. However, like every Battle Royale meta, this weapon should logically undergo a significant nerf at some point and therefore a new one will replace it.
And after analyzing for a long time, TrueGameData thinks they have found the weapon that will replace the Bren in the meta.
This is another machine gun from Vanguard, the DP27 which he boldly claimed. “As soon as the Bren gets a nerf it will be a cutting edge weapon for sure.”

According to WZRanked, the DP27 has a pick rate of 0.37, making it one of the weakest long range Vanguard weapons.
But, according to the Warzone analyst, one of the main advantages of this weapon is the recoil control over a long period of fire.
In his video, TrueGameData explains that while this weapon isn’t extremely overpowered, it will definitely be able to fill the void if the Bren receives a nerf.
Looking at the TTK charts, this machine gun is more effective than the STG44 and Automate, both of which are popular guns right now.
So while fans are waiting for a Bren nerf, it might be a good idea for you to start leveling up the DP27 as it could soon become Warzone Pacific’s new meta weapon.
