This watch feels like a Game Boy for your wrist
The watch consists of a Game Boy Advance SP-shaped case, which the user can turn over to reveal a game console with four buttons, a directional pad, two menu buttons, a built-in speaker and a screen. This configuration allows users to benefit from a variety of retro games on different consoles, from classic PC games to titles from the Nintendo 64 era.
The good news is that despite its particularity geared towards gaming, the Retro Watch makes no compromise on its primary function as a time measuring device. When closed, the top side transforms into a smart display that shows the time, date and weather. The company behind the Retro Watch set a fundraising goal of $35,000, and as of the last update, they’ve raised over $23,000 with 26 days until the campaign ends. Interested people can contribute to the campaign and obtain their Retro Watch by committing to paying a minimum of 159 dollars.
