2020 is coming sooner than we think. That’s why we are already revealing to you what the biggest beauty trend will be in the coming year. Spoiler: You will love him!

Baking, Contouring, Draping, and and and. There are loads of beauty trends – and they all come and go every now and then. But what else can come? We asked two experts from the beauty business and co-founders of the American brand MILK Makeup, Dianna Ruth and Georgie Greville – and are already in love with what awaits us.

If you do not know the brand: MILK Makeup comes from New York and has a very special philosophy. “Our products are vegan, cruelty-free and packed with skin-friendly, natural ingredients, and they’re super-user friendly,” says Creative Director Georgie Greville. But what makes you so “user-friendly”? Clearly: the design. There are, for example, skin care, masks, primers, cleanser and bronzer in stick form. And they all do the skin good. And there is something else: From the 22nd of August, MILK products will be available exclusively from Sephora.de.

That will come to us in 2020

MILK is currently one of the hottest brands in the US. For good reason? The products definitely differ from what we know otherwise. They definitely have trend potential in Germany. Apropos: Of course, we wanted to know what is the biggest beauty trend for 2020. COO Dianna Ruth says:

“I notice more and more that make-up and skin care products become one. Through products that are tailored to the individual skin needs of different people.”

What MILK has always been doing is now also being adapted by other brands. And honestly? Who does not want make-up, which also provides benefits for our skin. Of course you should keep in mind that such products usually have to have cream textures so that the ingredients can also get into the skin. That this does not necessarily strike the taste of everyone out there is more than logical. Creamy textures can not always be processed easily, they often become stained or you do not even feel it. That’s why Dianna advises:

“Always use a primer to make sure that the make-up will spread evenly throughout the day. Then apply a thin layer of the cream, veneer the whole, and grow the product until happy with the color.”

Layers is the key to success. Of course you can also use powdered products over creamy products. But please always after that – otherwise it will be spotty. Our tip: Do not apply the cream bronzer and blush directly to the foundation, but take the product with a tied brush. Then you can press it into the skin with it. So the result is even more even.
