This year 64 percent price increase

For the first time since autumn 2018, more than 85 dollars have to be paid for a barrel of North Sea oil. That is almost four times as much as in April 2020. At that time, the barrel price crashed because of the global corona shock waves.

In the current year alone, the oil price is up over 64 percent. A major relapse in the next few months: not in sight.
