Many television personalities paid tribute to the president of Century 21, Laurent Vimont who died of a heart attack at the age of 61.

Friday, March 11, 2022, the Death of Laurent Vimont was announced by the Century 21 group, of which he had been president since 2009. The French businessman succumbed to a heart attack at the age of 61. The news of his death particularly moved the world of television and in particular many animators who considered him a friend.

On the Twitter social network, several personalities have saluted his memory, starting with Thomas Sotto. The radio host wrote very sadly: “You spent mad energy and mobilized the whole world, every winter, to collect toys… How could this heart, so generous, let you go? Today, Santa Claus lost one of his most trusted lieutenants. Goodbye, my dear Laurent… “. The television host, Nikos Aliagas for his part mentioned “Sad news as unreal as it is painful“.

Denis Brogniart upset by the death of Laurent Vimont

On Instagram, Denis Brogniart also wanted to pay tribute to his friend. The iconic host of Koh Lanta published a photo series where Laurent Vimont first appears alone, then on a selfie with the TV host, then in costume where he appears very complicit with Denis Brogniart.

Upset, Denis Brogniart wanted to write a few words in tribute to his friend: “Laurent Vimont was of the caliber of leaders, a courageous, committed person who thrived on the strong human relationships he maintained wherever he went. He was passionate about everything, all the time.”

He then went on to tell a touching anecdote : “He dragged me into all his challenges, like when, after losing a bet, we swam across the Seine one morning in June.“. In shock, Denis Brogniart revealed that he “were still joking together two days ago“. Terrible news for the host who sent his thoughts to his wife Alice and his youngest daughter, Victoire.
