Thor 4 trailer: Chris Hemsworth naked and Christian Bale terrifying in Love And Thunder

A month after the teaser for Thor: Love & Thunder, Marvel unveils the first trailer for Taika Waititi’s feature film. We finally see Gorr, the Slaughterer of the Gods played by Christian Bale.

Marvel has just unveiled the trailer for Thor: Love & Thunder and a new poster. We discover Gorr, the Slaughterer of the Gods, interpreted by Christian Bale, for the first time.

After a difficult childhood, Gorr sees his land threatened by famine. He appeals to the gods but in vain. His wife and the rest of his family die. The latter then dedicates a deep hatred towards the Gods.

After merging with All-Black The Necrosword, an evil symbiote, Gorr becomes extremely powerful and decides to avenge his own by killing all the Gods. The director Taika Waititi presents him as being probably the “best villain marvel has ever had“.

Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Mighty Thor (Natalie Portman), who now wields Mjolnir, the hammer of Odin’s son, Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) and Korg (Taika Waititi) will join forces to face Gorr. On their way, they will meet Zeus, embodied by Russell Crowe, and other divine personalities like the Egyptian Goddess Bastet (Akosia Sabet).

If in the teaser, Zeus only appeared from behind, the God of Olympus has this time a complete and memorable scene since the latter undresses Thor under the amused gaze of his friends…

This trailer confirms the quirky tone of the feature film, which the filmmaker recently promised, especially with regard to the character of Jane Foster.

In the columns of Empire magazine, Waititi explained: “We didn’t want Natalie to come back and play this same character who walks around with science equipment. While Thor flies, she remains on Earth wondering when he will return. It’s boring. We wanted her to be part of the adventure.

Natalie is really funny in life. She’s a bit goofy and has a great sense of humor, and I don’t think that was exploited enough in the early films.“.

Thor: Love & Thunder will be released in theaters on July 13.
