The second trailer of “Thor: Love and Thunder” already reveals a lot about the upcoming blockbuster, but you have to look very closely at one detail. The god of thunder gets naked in the truest sense of the word and reveals an intimate secret at this moment.
Doctor Strange is still up to mischief in the cinema. In a few weeks, the next potential blockbuster of the MCU will start in cinemas worldwide with “Thor: Love and Thunder”. The sequel picks up where we last saw Thor in Avengers: Endgame. As a reminder, the Thunder God joins the Guardians of the Galaxy and vanishes into deep space.

The now second trailer reveals even more and thus whiles the time until the premiere of the film on July 8th. Among other things, we see a bit more of Natalie Portman, who reprises her role as Jane Foster. Or should we rather say: Mighty Thor. That’s right, Thor suddenly has competition from his ex and is probably giving up the hammer for good.

And then there’s Batman tumbling around in the MCU. I’m sorry, what? To be more precise, in the new trailer we see Christian Bale for the first time, who will probably always be associated with the role of the “Dark Knight”. However, in “Thor: Love and Thunder” he switches sides and mutates into the villain “Gorr the God Butcher”. – And the name is program.
Speaking of gods. In a hilarious scene in the trailer, Thor is undressed with a snap of his fingers by Zeus (played by Russell Crowe) himself and even has to be pixelated to protect minors. But an intimate secret does not escape our trained eye. If you look closely, you will see a very special and new tattoo on the back of the Nordic god.
It features Loki Rundeyson’s famous and iconic horned helmet. A tribute to his deceased adoptive brother. As is well known, he gave his life in the fight against Thanos. That must be real brotherly love, such an oversized tattoo. What would Loki think about that? Unfortunately, we will never find out, but maybe Thor will meet the now established Loki variant from the TV series in the future. This could then be a very special reunion, at least with Thor baring his torso.
What comes next at Marvel?
Not enough of the MCU? The new series “Ms. Marvel” on Disney+, followed by “She-Hulk” on August 17. We’ll have to be patient again until the next MCU movie. Let’s go further on November 11 with “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” – the sequel to the 2018 hit is once again directed by Ryan Coogler.
