(dpa) At least three people have been killed in a shooting at a Missouri school. Among the dead are an adult woman and a juvenile, Police Chief Michael Sack said on Monday. The shooter was also killed in an exchange of fire with the emergency services.
Other people were injured in the incident in St. Louis and were being treated in the hospital. “As far as we know, there are no other threats. So the community is safe here,” Sack said.
The background of the incident is still open. The police received a call about an active shooter shortly after 9 a.m. (local time) and were on site a short time later. “There was an exchange of fire in which the suspect was hit.”
