three different certificates for the re-containment

To fight against the coronavirus epidemic, a re-containment is put in place from this Thursday, October 30, and with new certificates allowing you to leave your home.

It's the big comeback of confinement, season 2, from October 30, to fight against the coronavirus. In his televised address this Wednesday evening, Emmanuel Macron was clear: the second wave is deadly. Containment should apply until December 1 "a minimum". A point will be made every 15 days by the authorities to assess the health situation.

As last spring, the movements of the French will be limited. Say hello again to the compulsory certificate, you know this little sheet that gives you the right to go shopping, for example. The re-containment will limit exits to a radius of one kilometer around his home, for one hour per day. The certificates are available on the government website and on the Tous Anti Covid application from October 30. You can print them out to complete them, fill them in on the site or the app and obtain a QR code, or write them yourself on plain paper. According to Europe 1, there will be three types:

  • A certificate for the necessary daily trips (shopping, physical exercises alone and less than a kilometer from home, help for fragile people, medical reasons), similar to those for the last confinement, valid for one hour.
  • A professional certificate to get to work, again as during the first confinement. During an inspection, you will also need to present proof provided by your employer.
  • A certificate for school trips, valid over time to bring your children to school and pick them up. "Nurseries, schools, colleges and high schools will remain open with reinforced health protocols" Emmanuel Macron said. This certificate would be valid over time so as not to have to make a new one for each school trip.

Travel between regions prohibited

As you can guess, all outings must be made with a derogatory certificate, "like in spring", declared Wednesday evening the President of the Republic. If you forget your certificate, the fine is 135 euros. It then goes on a flat-rate basis to 200 euros for a recurrence within a fortnight, with the possibility of reaching 1,500 euros.

Travel between regions is again prohibited, but the police will be "benevolent" until Sunday evening, for the return of the All Saints holidays.
