But this comes at a price, with a rotation towards PlayStation Plus Extra. Thus, six games will leave us tomorrow, March 19, at 11:00 a.m., including several nuggets. Hurry to enjoy them before they disappear!

Updated at 1:15 p.m.: three more games deleted without warning

We are updating the article to report the express departure of titles that should have left the service in April. These are three Japanese games published by Koei Tecmo, which are leaving following a secret announcement from the publisher. Like the others, their departure is scheduled for March 19 at 11 a.m. Since we are dealing with J-RPGs, the time allotted turns out to be far too short to see the end of it. To continue the adventure if you liked the experience, you will necessarily have to checkout. Here are the three games in question:

  • Nights of Azure
  • Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon
  • Warriors All-Stars

Now back to the original article.

Free PlayStation Plus Extra games are leaving the service space

Life is an eternal cycle, and that’s a bit the theme of the free games which will leave PS Plus Extra tomorrow, March 19, at 11 a.m. As with Xbox Game Pass, these titles have had their day and must leave room for the next ones. So you still have a few hours left to dive into it, if you haven’t already done so. Especially since some of them are relatively quick to complete.

Most of these PlayStation Plus Extra departures are small nuggets from the independent scene, like Haven, Tchia or Outer Wilds. Three games with unique artistic direction and refreshing gameplay, which convey a beautiful message. Fans of Japanese games also have some time to enjoy Souls-Like Code Vein or the somewhat horrific open-world action game Ghostwire: Tokyo. Finally, the excellent J-RPG NEO: The World Ends with You, published by Square Enix, is still available a few hours before the end of the world. Here is the full list of PlayStation Plus Extra departures:

  • Civilization VI
  • Tchia (PS5, PS4)
  • Ghostwire: Tokyo (PS5)
  • Haven (PS5, PS4)
  • NEO: The World End with You (PS5, PS4)
  • Code Vein (PS5, PS4)
  • Outer Wilds (PS5, PS4)

So you still have a few hours left to enjoy these particularly popular titles. Given the time available, some fairly difficult choices will necessarily have to be made. Fortunately, most of these aren’t extremely long games to complete. We will notably remember Haven, Tchia and Ghostwire: Tokyo, the end of which we can see quite quickly. This is unfortunately not the case for the Code Vein and NEO RPGs, which require several dozen hours.

Since they are free for PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers, this allows you to try them at no additional cost. It is then up to you to see if the experience is worth extending by purchasing them. To save you some of your precious time, we detail below the estimates in hours to complete each game and platinum it.

How long does it take to complete PS Plus Extra departures?

  • Tchia : 7 a.m. for the main story, 10:30 p.m. for Platinum
  • Ghostwire Tokyo : 11h for the main story, 39h30 for Platinum
  • Haven : 10:30 a.m. for the main story, 6 p.m. for Platinum
  • NEO The World End with You : 40 hours for the main story, 104 hours for Platinum
