Notice to all Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players. You will still be able to obtain new pokemon for free, but one of them will soon bow out.
As tradition dictates, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet takes care of its community by regularly flooding it with gifts. To do this, developers very frequently organize temporary events which are accessible to everyone. The only condition, and therefore constraint, is to have at least completed the main story of the Nintendo Switch game. If you think you’re on track, then you’ll be eligible to claim new creatures, but as usual, it’s worth it. You will have to fight a minimum and above all be available throughout the entire operation.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Teracrystal raids approaching
If you want to increase your collection of free pokemon, you are in the right place. In the coming days, we can expect to see three new event-based Teracrystal raids emerge in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. We start in order with a Florizarre with the Powerful Badge to be collected from Wednesday February 28 at 1:00 a.m. to Tuesday March 5, 2024 at 12:59 a.m. (French time). During Pokémon Present on February 27, it was clarified that only one Florizzare can be captured per save. However, it is possible to face him in other Teracrystal raids in order to obtain other undisclosed rewards.
Next, Pokemon Scarlet and Purple will let you hunt a Tortank with the Powerful Badge from Wednesday March 6 at 1:00 a.m. to Tuesday March 12, 2024 at 12:59 a.m. And it’s the same sentence as for the Florizzare, namely that it can only be caught once per save. Finally, we end with a legendary creature, which everyone knows even without being very familiar with the license, with a Charizard with the Powerful Badge. It will be available from Wednesday, March 13 at 1:00 a.m. to Sunday, March 17 at 12:59 a.m.
However, be careful, because there is information to remember about this Charizard. “The Charizard that appears during this event will have the same stats and abilities as the one that appeared during the last event with a Charizard with the Powerful Badge. If you have already captured a Charizard with the Powerful Badge, you will not be able to catch it again during this event.” (via Pokemon Presents on February 27, 2024).
As usual, the prerequisite for capturing critters during Teracrystal raids is to have completed Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. On the other hand, you must also have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. If you have never been a subscriber, you will surely be able to benefit from a trial period. It is never very long, but you will have time to hunt at least the Florizzare and the Tortank. In any case, here is a reminder of the procedure to follow:
- Complete and restart Pokemon Scarlet and Violet on Nintendo Switch
- Go to the Poké Portal menu
- Then on “Receive Poké portal news”
Until this evening, Tuesday February 27, you will also be able to track down Voltrobe and Chromatic Trompignon in the Paldea region. And if you’re lucky, you’ll even come across a mystery Pokémon!
