A 42-year-old car driver from Vienna was driving her car on the A10 in the direction of Salzburg when she suddenly turned right off the lane. At the provisional Villach-West motorway exit, the vehicle thundered unabated against one of the concrete guide elements placed there.
Three injured
Both the driver herself and her two passengers – a 43-year-old woman and an eight-year-old boy, both also from Vienna – suffered injuries in the accident. After the first aid by the rescue service, all three people were admitted to the LKH Villach. The car was totaled, it was towed away. According to the police, the exact cause of the accident has not yet been clarified.
