An unbelievable accident happened on Sunday afternoon in the St. Veit district. The balcony of a family home suddenly collapsed – while a 48-year-old and her son (16) were standing on it.
Luckily, neither of them were seriously injured, but the shock to the St. Veiterin and her family should be great. The brick balcony crashed down for unknown reasons. Mother and son fell three meters deep. “The partner who was in an adjoining room called the rescue service,” explains a policewoman. The two injured were taken to Friesach Hospital.
