Xbox Game Pass has just welcomed three new games into its catalog, and one of them may scare you. You have been warned.
Yesterday, we were finally able to discover the names of the latest games coming to Xbox Game Pass in March 2024. If Diablo 4 and Open Roads on the 28th weren’t enough for you, we also have Evil West or Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 Turbocharge on the way. But what do we have on the agenda right now? Well, there are three new titles that have just joined Microsoft’s service. You will normally find what you are looking for there, especially horror fans.
Three new additions to Xbox Game Pass
We start with the two games that arrived on March 19 in the subscription. First we find Lightyear Frontier. It is an open world game where the player controls a mecha for a specific purpose. Does he have to eradicate a certain threat? Conquer worlds aboard your giant robot? The answer: take care of an interstellar farm. Who said you couldn’t do it at the controls of a big, versatile machine like this? In any case, this concept already appeals to many players, so don’t hesitate to try it on Xbox Game Pass.
Next on the list is MLB The Show 24. This time, it’s aimed more at baseball fans. This sequel was quite anticipated by fans, especially after a 2023 edition which will not necessarily have been to everyone’s taste. Its user score on Metacritic speaks for itself, sitting at 6.5/10. It’s not bad, obviously, but it shows that it’s still a bit divisive. Either way, if you have a weakness for the franchise, you shouldn’t miss it on Xbox Game Pass.
We end with the addition of the day, that is to say The Quarry. The famous narrative horror game that made everyone jump. It comes to us from the ovens of Supermassive Games, which you probably know for Until Dawn. The studio has not always accustomed us to similar quality, as demonstrated by Dark Pictures, but we must recognize that this title was able to convince us. A holiday camp, carefree young people, a threat lurking in the shadows, a situation that will degenerate: this game takes up the codes of slasher movies, and gives us a rather frightening experience.
