Boulanger is launching three packs to start connected lighting in your home, with a choice of bulb models and everything you need to configure it simply. All in affordable price ranges.
In the battle between the big brands on connected lighting, Boulanger has decided to return to the attack. Leroy Merlin, Ikea and even Lidl have recently slashed prices and made their products easier to use. Boulanger is launching new references for its Essentialb range, at prices that are still just as affordable.
Three packs for all tastes
This will take the form of three starter kits including two E27 ZigBee bulbs and a smart button to be able to control the lights like a remote control. Wanted “mobile and innovative”, it can also be used as a wall switch for your connected bulb, in the same style as the Philips Hue switch remote control. Added to this is the Essentialb box which will serve as a hub to connect to your wi-fi and connect everything. You can also use the Enki box (normal or lighting), found in particular at Leroy Merlin, which is compatible with Boulanger connected bulbs.

The difference between the three Essentialb kits therefore lies in the bulb models: Shades of white to offer cold to warm whites, Filament Edison for a retro look of white bulbs (globe or classic), Whites & Colors for Choose from millions of colors and create your mood. The advertised lifespan is 15,000 hours for the white models to 25,000 hours for the Whites & Colors bulbs.
The new Essentialb range is managed from the Enki application (Android and iOS), with the possibility of establishing lighting scenarios at home, creating atmospheres according to the time of day, the theme, etc.
You can also use Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant to control the set by voice, whether you’re at home or remotely.
