Semiconductor values:
Demand for the semiconductor industry remains high as the shortage of microprocessors continues. The shortage of semiconductor supply is related to different factors. Founders failed to meet the sharp acceleration in demand after two months of factory shutdowns due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The strong demand for computer products generated by the massification of teleworking also explains this shortage. Climatic events have worsened the situation in 2021. And overall, production is unable to keep up with demand despite the substantial investments by players in the sector.

Since the pandemic, automakers have struggled to get their hands on some parts, especially computer chips imported from Asia, slowing production of new vehicles.
