The perfect pair of jeans, a black blazer and a white blouse – we know it, we have it. Next, please! Here are three fashion pieces that go surprisingly well with everything and are now in your closets!

Black trousers, a white shirt and a blazer; an outfit is born, which unfortunately can also quickly appear boring. There are so many cooler basics that could revolutionize our fashion game. Clear the stage!

Three styles that can be surprisingly simple

1. Striped shirts and sweaters

Of course, you can never go wrong with white or single-colored basics. How about stepping out of your comfort zone? It’s easy too, I promise! The striped shirt is not only popular with the French. They wrap it up in outfits that scream basic but never seem boring.

So why not simply swap out the white cotton shirt for a striped one with a ruffled hem? If you want to be warm, grab a striped pullover, maybe even with a zip detail. Still simple, but with a little twist. Wasn’t that difficult!

2. Quilted Coats

Classic coats and trench coats are good, but somehow we’ve had enough of what everyone is wearing. That’s why we’re stepping it up a notch. Quilted coats are not only at the top of the trend list, the pattern also upgrades the usual cuts.

A quilted trench coat? Basic but awesome! And even keeps out wind and weather. It doesn’t matter what you wear underneath. Outfit on, the quilted coat over it and let the wild ride begin!

3. Boots with a high shaft

We love, love, love white sneakers and wear them all the time. But sometimes they really piss us off. So give me a new shoe that still goes with everything. Higher boots can also be styled with whatever you have in your closet and we can’t help but yawn (yay!).

Whether in classic Dr. Martens (who doesn’t love them and doesn’t have them), or in ones with an even higher shaft – such models can be combined with jeans, skirts and dresses just as easily as the simple sneaker.

4. Pants that aren’t jeans

Sure, everyone needs a well-fitting pair of jeans in their closet. But wearing them all the time can get pretty tedious. What about pleated trousers or a flared leg? Let’s take it immediately!

Whether black, dark blue or beige – all other basics in the wardrobe can also be combined with trousers. Pants like that combined with a white blouse – yes, yes, yes! The other pants give the outfit a good portion of fashion sophistication. Cool and basic, without the “already seen” factor!
