The renovation of the Ertlwand has already improved traffic safety at a narrow point in the Lieserschlucht. At the beginning of February, the state presented the second sub-project “Cycle path, drainage and ceiling renovation” to the major project “Cycle path through the Lieserschlucht” to the State Audit Office. While the Ertlwand costs just under 2.94 million euros, part two costs around 20.5 million. Of the 23.45 million total costs, 19.5 million remain “picked” by the state.
