Through my window on Netflix: have fans of Raquel and Ares validated the third and final film in the saga?

“Through My Window” is finished on Netflix. Did the last part of the trilogy, “Eyes in the Eyes”, seduce fans of the Spanish saga?

Barely released on Netflix and already number 1 in the platform’s top views, Through My Window: Eye to Eye closes one of the latest sensual franchises for young adults.

Highly anticipated by fans, this third and final film in the successful Through My Window trilogy concludes the complex but torrid romance between Raquel (Clara Galle) and Ares (Julio Peña).

The rest of the cast of Through My Window: Eye to Eye, we find Hugo Arbues (Apollo), Eric Masip (Artemis), Natalia Azahara (Daniela), Emilia Lazo (Claudia), Carla Tous (Anna), Andrea Chaparro (Vera), Iván Lapadula (Gregory) but also Rachel Lascar (Sofia), Abel Folk (Juan) and Pilar Castro (Tere).

The Through My Window franchise, adapted from Ariana Godoy’s fiction, followed Raquel and Ares’ rocky relationship of family conflicts, betrayals, arguments and sensual scenes over three films.

So are fans happy with the ending of Through My Window: Eye to Eye? If we are to believe the first feedback on X (formerly Twitter), aficionados are rather moved by the final outcome which brings Ares and Raquel together.

Trilogy fans are moved by the ending of Through My Window

Fans of the trilogy were happy to find the two main actors again Julio Pena (which you recently saw in Berlin, the spin-off of La Casa de Papel) and Clara Galle one last time in the skins of Ares and Raquel and cried at the romantic ending of Through My Window: the eyes in the eyes.

And there are the most skeptical…

Some fans of the saga are quite disappointed with this last film in the trilogy adapted from the writings of Arian Godoy and think back with nostalgia to the beginning of the franchise and the freshness of the very first feature film.

Some even point the finger at the sex scenes deemed “useless” in this trilogy, which is in line with sensual romantic franchises for young adults like After.

Members of the AlloCiné community were not charmed by À Travers Ma Fenêtre: Eyes to Eyes either since the film received a rating of 2.7 out of 5, which is slightly above the average.

And you, what did you think of the film Through My Window: Eye to Eye?
