Tiger Woods is back home after three weeks in the hospital. There he wants to continue recovering from his serious car accident.

Tiger Woods, 45, was released from a Los Angeles hospital receiving treatment after his car accident. The golf star explained on Twitterthat he was at home and continued to recover there. He also thanked the medical staff who had looked after him over the past three weeks for their sympathy and support over the past few weeks. Now he wants to work on "becoming a little stronger every day," said Tiger Woods.

It is not known how Woods is doing after the hospital stay. The professional golfer was in a serious car accident on February 23rd and was admitted to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. There he had to undergo an emergency operation, and he is said to have broken several debris on his right leg. Two days later, Woods was transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

No one was involved in the Los Angeles County crash except the sports star. Authorities said there was no evidence of drug or alcohol abuse.
