Golf colleagues wear his colors on the grass after Tiger Woods' car accident. A gesture that apparently moves the sports star deeply.
Red shirt and black pants: In this look, Tiger Woods (45, "How I Play Golf") typically hits his balls on the golf course. After the professional athlete's serious car accident at the beginning of last week, some of his colleagues appeared on the field in his colors on Sunday. A sign of support that Woods apparently touches deeply, like his first twitter post makes clear after the accident.
"It's hard to explain how touching it was for me today when I turned on the TV and saw all the red shirts," wrote the 45-year-old on the short message service, adding: "To every golfer and fan, you're really helping me get through this tough time. "
Golf balls labeled "TIGER"
In addition to numerous players who copied Tiger Woods' look, others showed their solidarity in other ways. As reported by the magazine "Golfweek", the American Billy Horschel (34) wore a cap with the initials of the golf legend embroidered on it. Three other colleagues hit golf balls marked "TIGER".
The native Californian Tiger Woods had strayed from a street in Los Angeles on Tuesday (February 23), the car had overturned several times, according to US media reports. He is said to have suffered several fractures in his leg, after which he was operated on several times. Apart from the sports star, nobody was involved in the crash.
