After a serious car accident, golfer Tiger Woods is in hospital. This is how the stars react to the tragic accident.

American golf star Tiger Woods (45) is in hospital after a serious car accident. In one Statement on his Twitter account it is said that he suffered serious injuries to his leg and had an operation. The 45-year-old should be alert and responsive. Many stars sent congratulations via social media, including Woods' ex-girlfriend Lindsey Vonn (36).

The former ski racer, who was in a relationship with Woods for more than two years until 2015, wrote on twitterthat she would pray for her ex-partner. Golfer Justin Thomas (27) addressed his recovery wishes also via Twitter from: "I'm sick right now," wrote the athlete. "I pray for Tiger Woods and hope for a terrific recovery. I think of his entire family and his team. We know TW is a fighter. Get well soon."
