The reserves of the sunny city are dwindling – this is how the presentation of the budget could be summed up. Around 19.8 million euros have been earmarked for a broad list of projects in 2023. Compared to the previous year, this is EUR 3.9 million less. The north school center (14 million) and the main square (one million) alone devour a large part of this sum. “The rising personnel, energy and interest costs will only take effect in 2023,” warns BM Elisabeth Blanik. So one tried not to burden the population unnecessarily and made no changes, for example in municipal or entertainment taxes.
