Tikehau Capital launches the new vintage of its private equity strategy dedicated to aeronautics








(Boursier.com) — Tikehau Capital, a global alternative asset management group, announces the launch of the new year of its private equity strategy dedicated to aeronautics. This initiative is being carried out in collaboration with Bpifrance, the four major clients in the European aeronautical industry, Airbus, Safran, Dassault Aviation and Thales, as well as the Crédit Agricole group.
This strategy aims to reach 800 million euros of assets under management with a first closing of around 400 million euros to be finalized by the end of the first quarter of 2024. Created in 2020 in response to the COVID crisis -19, the first vintage of this strategy has played a central role in the revitalization of the aviation industry over the past three years.

The next vintage builds on the positive momentum of its predecessor and aligns with the industry’s recovery. Global air traffic has indeed exceeded pre-pandemic levels in 2023, demonstrating a strong resurgence of the sector. The French aeronautical industry is recognized as a world leader. It plays a crucial role in the country’s trade balance and is also a major source of jobs in France.
This second vintage will focus on supporting the growth, modernization, transmission and strategic investments of SMEs and SMIs in the aeronautical industry. Tikehau Capital intends to support significant changes in the industry, and in particular play a particular role in the transition to sustainable and low-carbon practices.
