BRUSSELS, Jan 6 (Reuters) – TikTok Chief Executive Shou Zi Chew will meet EU Competition Commissioner Margrethe Vestager in Brussels on January 10, according to a schedule released by the European Commission on Friday.
Shou Zi Chew will also meet Values and Transparency Commissioner Vera Jourova and EU Home Affairs Commissioner Ylva Johansson on the same day, according to the schedule.
A spokesperson for the European Commission said that among the topics discussed could include the protection of personal data by online platforms such as TikTok and the implementation of digital services legislation.
