TikTok: Social network apparently affected by a disruption

TikTok, the social medium for short films, is currently affected by a disruption. The users are currently reporting this to us on our fault indicator. The app for both Android and iOS is particularly affected.

It seems to be a regional phenomenon. Most notifications reach us from North Rhine-Westphalia. However, the urban conurbations of Berlin, Frankfurt am Main and Hamburg have also been badly hit in terms of numbers.

Service only partially affected?

In the editorial office, we could not identify any impairments to the service for Android or iOS. On Twitter, users noticed that private messages have disappeared. For others, the service is completely down.
