A new Pulse program on TikTok

Via an official blog post, TikTok announces the establishment of a brand new program called Pulse. The latter aims to give brands the tools and control they need to be part of those moments and trends that engage the community every day “. It will also be responsible for remunerating certain content creators.

The program allows advertisers to feature their brands in the most viewed videos on the platform. Only creators with at least 100,000 subscribers are eligible for this new Pulse service, and will therefore receive a commission on the videos concerned. TikTok will share 50% of Pulse ad revenue with approved creators.

This new TikTok Pulse program will be launched in June in the United States, before rolling out to other markets. A dozen categories are affected by this program, namely fashion, cooking, cosmetics and even gaming. TikTok promises enhanced control, to assure advertisers that their ads will only be included in verified videos, which will not harm their image.
