Til Schweiger: That's why he's giving up his restaurant in Hamburg

Filmmaker Til Schweiger has also been a restaurant owner in Hamburg for several years. That’s over now, he’s selling the "Barefood Deli".

In 2016, filmmaker Til Schweiger (56, "Vier gegen die Bank") opened the "Barefood Deli" restaurant in Hamburg. Now he is withdrawing from the gastro project. "After intensive but wonderful years of building up 'Barefood Deli', I decided to give up the restaurant. As a licensor, I will of course remain part of the brand I have created," Schweiger told the "Bild" newspaper.

The reason given by the actor, director and producer is: "I currently want to focus professionally one hundred percent on my films and the 'Barefoot' brand." Its managing director Michael Ränsch continues to run the restaurant.
