Accustomed to the big screen, the director collaborates for the first time with the platform and returns to the series – format which he had briefly explored earlier in his career.
In this new adaptation, Jenna Ortega – who recently appeared in Scream – plays the cynical and disenchanted teenager. The eight-episode series, all about her, follows her adventures at Nevermore Academy as a series of murders threatens the town and its people. For Wednesday, it’s time to investigate and meet the forces of evil.
Alongside the actress are Oscar winner Catherine Zeta-Jones as the matriarch, Morticia, and Luis Guzmán as Gomez. Gwendoline Christie (Game of Thrones, Star Wars: The Force Awakens) and Thora Birch (American Beauty, The Walking Dead) are also part of the cast.
