Time out until the summer session – SP National Councilor Jacqueline Badran takes a break from politics – News

  • Her family doctor urgently prescribed her a break, writes Jacqueline Badran on Facebook.
  • After 20 years of intensive institutional politics, she will take a break until the summer session.

“The many defensive battles in recent years that the SP has been forced into have affected me physically and mentally – even if they were successful,” writes the long-time SP national councilor on Facebook. She is often at a loss and exhausted after political battles – also about the “recently increasing aggressiveness and disrespect towards politics”.

Jacqueline Badran has been an SP national councilor since 2011 and runs an IT company. She is always courageously involved in voting campaigns, most recently successfully against the abolition of stamp duty.

She asks the media and the public to respect their need for calm, Badran continues, and thanks everyone in the country for their trust and support.
