Tine Wittler, the interior design queen, reveals in the GALA interview where she finds relaxation and why she is more of a village girl.

Tine Wittler: Here she comes to rest

“I lived in Hamburg, the most beautiful city in the world, for 25 years,” says the 50-year-old in a GALA interview. “But I’m a village girl. I had a longing for nature, peace and quiet.” In their almost two-century-old half-timbered house in Wendland you can find “something from almost every decade that the house has experienced so far”. In the garden, however, modern technology is popular. Tine Wittler: “I’ve owned a bright red ride-on mower since last spring. His name is Mr. Löw because he’s the boss on the pitch.”
