It’s been barely a month since Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands was released on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC, but Gearbox Software will already add additional content to it via his Season Pass paying. As expected, it is this Thursday, April 21 that we can cross the Mirror of Mystery to discover the first of four parts of its content, Treacherous Ophid. As present its launch trailerwe will have to walk through a frozen dungeon to liquidate the god Ophid’rien Chums, resembling a shark, which will take 4 different forms only unlocking over the weeks. Yes, it’s a way like any other to force players to restart the game over time, as well as to force them to go through the dungeon again in the event of death facing the boss…
New equipment and cosmetic elements obviously await players who will overcome this content, present in detail below:
Long ago, the Ophid’rien pulled off the biggest prize in history by catching an Old God! The latter found himself trapped in the body of a robust and powerful sea worg with sharp teeth, then locked in the depths of a mountain of ice. You alone have the power to release from his prison of flesh the one who is called, not without mockery, “Chums”. This will require crossing cold and desolate lands, as well as arid ruins, but also flooding caverns filled with enemies.
You will find yourself in the middle of a terrible battle between the crawling Ophid’rien and the angry inhabitants of the brackish waters, and you will have no choice but to walk through this chaos.
GO THROUGH THE MIRROR
The first of four additional content included in the Season Pass, Ophide Perfide offers a replayable dungeon challenge with a fearsome new boss. “Chums”, the ancient god, lost all consciousness of himself, spiraling out of control after being trapped in the body of a sea worg for centuries. Is there still humanity in this low world? If yes, then this mad god must be rescued from this terrible condition as soon as possible. But to achieve this, a defeat will not be enough: “Chums” has four powerful forms that will unlock as you goreleasing an ever-increasing force.
Treacherous Ophide can be accessed through Vesper’s first Mystery Mirror, which can be found in the eerie Veiled Overlook, just outside of Firehoof on the overworld map. Inside, enemies have a base level of 13 and will adapt further to the level of your Hand of Destiny.
Access to Perfidious Ophide and all other Mystery Mirrors is possible with the Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Season Pass, or as an individual purchase. The Season Pass itself is included in the Marvelous Chaos Edition and can also be purchased separately.
WILL YOU BE ABLE TO DEFEAT THE FINAL FORM?
Over the three weeks following Ophide Treacherous’ launch, “Chums” will take on an even more powerful form once defeated. With each transformation, he will learn new attacks and gain new abilities, which are likely to challenge the courage of the toughest Hands of Fate. And to make things even worse, you and your bruised little behind will be thrown out of the mirror every time you meet death in your fight against “Chums”. You will then have to go through the whole dungeon again to take your revenge.

- First form: 6:30 p.m. on April 21.
- Second form: 6:30 p.m. on April 28.
- Third form: 6:30 p.m. on May 5.
- Fourth form: 6:30 p.m. on May 12.
START THE WHEEL OF DESTINY
As you venture into the Mirrors of Mystery, you will undoubtedly find glory, but you will also be rewarded with the discovery of plenty of loot! Kill enemies and earn Lost Souls, which you can then use to spin the Wheel of Fate installed in Veiled Overlook. Whichever box you land on while spinning this devilish contraption, you’ll earn a valuable item, such as a new weapon, gear, or cosmetic item to add to your collection.
Completing the Ophide Treacherous Challenges will also add this content to the randomized possibilities included in the infinitely replayable Chamber of Chaos. Completing Ophide Treacherous will add five new level layouts, and “Chums” himself, to the list of chaotic variables.
