This is what Outer Range is all about: Rancher Royal Abbott (Josh Brolin) struggles every day to keep his Wyoming farm and his family. But the hard life in the country soon takes a disturbing turn: After a supposed tourist (Imogen Poots) shows up at Abbott’s farm, he discovers an inexplicable phenomenon at the edge of the wilderness – a gigantic hole that soon attracts more and more attention .

Outer Range is particularly praised for its visual performance, as well as the talented cast. Don’t expect a storm of action, though: Outer Range is a slow-paced, family-oriented mystery-thriller that stays intriguing until the end of the first season. On IMDB the series has one so far very good rating of 7.6/10 coveted – and is often compared to the popular series Yellowstone (2018), albeit with a mysterious twist.
