Even if James Cameron’s juggernaut, directed in 1997 and carried by Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, is not the richest film in hidden details that one can find, Titanic nevertheless conceals some small surprises intended for the spectators the more attentive.
The most interesting of these winks is in the very last seconds of the feature film, at 3 hours, 6 minutes and 37 seconds very precisely.
In this final sequence, Rose, now a centenarian, closes her eyes and lets her mind wander through the corridors of the vanished liner, and again brand new. There she finds all the passengers who perished during the sinking as well as her beloved Jack, who is waiting for her in front of the big clock where they had agreed to meet 80 years earlier.

It is precisely this clock that will interest us here. Take a freeze frame at the appropriate time and carefully observe the hands of the dial. As you can see, the big one points to 2, and the small one points to 4.
It is therefore 2 hours and 20 minutes, the exact time at which the Titanic sank under the waves.
Could this little hidden detail suggest that Rose has just died of old age, and that she has finally joined Jack in the afterlife, a place where time has completely stopped?
Knowing the meticulousness of James Cameron and his attention to detail, we can in any case be sure that he himself insisted on orienting the hands of the clock in this way, as if to leave a message of hope and future to its spectators, after the trauma of the shipwreck.
