Thierry Ardisson returns to the small screen! After leaving C8 three years ago, the Man in Black is back with a program called hotel of timebroadcast next Monday, May 2 on France 3. A very original program because during prime time, the host will interview a departed legend. And for this first issue, Thierry Ardisson will “receive” Dalida. In a interview granted to Télé Star and to be found on April 25, he explained why he wanted to embark on this adventure. “Since there are no more living stars, I interview the dead! The program is divided into three acts: what people know about the legend, his private life then his origins and finally, an epilogue where the star speaks post mortem.he detailed.
But to be able to give the floor to such guests, it was necessary to resort to cutting-edge technology. “We owe everything to artificial intelligence and the prowess of Marc Guff who uses the “face retriever” and “voice cloning” techniques”revealed Thierry Ardisson, before explaining how it works: “Basically, we put in the bike as many images of Dalida as possible and the machine does deep learning. Then, we put the face and the voice that we created on that of the actress who plays Dalida, Julie Chevallier.”
Thierry Ardisson rejuvenated by 20 years
A process that the companion of Audrey Crespo-Mara also wanted to apply to himself. Indeed, in Hôtel du temps, we will discover a Thierry Ardisson with 20 years younger. A rejuvenation which was carried out for a very specific reason, as revealed with humor by the former presenter of Salut les Terrans. “To piss off Michael Drucker ! (He’s laughing).
