From June 1, to take advantage of the MaPrimeRenov’ system, the application for the premium must correspond to work adapted to the housing situation. The new conditions also specify that only the applicant can create his account before eventually giving a mandate to a third party.
New for the MaPrimeRenov’ device from June 1st. According to the terms of a decree published on Wednesday May 31, 2023, premium request may now be rejected if the overall renovation project or the work undertaken is unsuitable for housing. In addition, the allocation of MaPrimeRenov’ will now be conditional on the simultaneous allocation of a purchase bonus for heating or hot water supply equipment, a heat pump, a double flow VMC or insulation. If this is not the case, the decision to reject the premium must be reasoned.
What if you dispute the rejection? You will then have to carry out an energy audit to justify your request for work. This examination costs nearly 1000 euros, mandatory in the event of a sale, and carries out a precise inventory of your home.
The new conditions of MaPrimeRenov’ also specify that only the applicant can create an account allowing him to identify himself personally. It is only then that he can appoint someone to apply for the bonus in his place. Before, this distinction was not made, we did not talk about creating an account, just requesting a bonus. Recently, more than 200 referrals were filed with the administrative courts to demand payment of MaPrimeRenov’.
Increase in ceilings to cope with rising prices
Since February, the ceilings for work that can be financed by the public energy renovation aid scheme MaPrimeRnov’ have been raised to take account of the rise in prices. The global renovation package has gone from 7,000 to 10,000 euros for households with intermediate resources, and from 3,500 to 5,000 euros for households with higher resources.

In addition, since April 1, households with higher resources can no longer, in mainland France, benefit from flat rates relating to thermal insulation.
