“Suicide Squad” was so heavily adapted by Warner Bros. before its release that not even director David Ayer is satisfied with the released version of his film. Despite poor reviews, the team-up of DC villains was a hit and Harley Quinn costumes were subsequently in high demand on Halloween.
Actress Margot Robbie appreciated Harley Quinn as a character, but not the skimpy costumes, which were primarily intended to appeal to male viewers. In “Birds of Prey,” Harley Quinn looks completely different, but is no less crazy and gets support from several heroines from the DC universe.
Although the film received much better reviews, “Birds of Prey” did not make enough money at the box office to be considered profitable. Robbie then returned as Harley Quinn in “The Suicide Squad,” but had more say under the direction of James Gunn.

The hunt is on for Harley Quinn when her explosive breakup with the Joker makes her a target. On the run, Quinn faces the wrath of narcissistic crime boss Black Mask, his right-hand man Victor Zsasz, and every other criminal in the city.
But things soon improve for Harley when she teams up with three deadly women – Huntress, Black Canary and Renee Montoya.
